Scope Fluidics launches initial functionality tests of the PCR|ONE system in target conditions

The Management Board of Scope Fluidics S.A. (“the Company”) hereby informs that on 24 July 2018 Curiosity Diagnostics Sp. z o.o. (a subsidiary of Scope Fluidics) concluded a contract with the microbiology lab of Alab laboratoria sp. z o.o. on pre-validation of the PCR|ONE system

The contract is a continuation of cooperation between Scope Fluidics and Alab laboratoria sp. z o.o. which formally started with the Letter of Intent of 16 January 2018, announced in the report no. 2/2018. Since that day, Alab laboratoria sp. z o.o. has been the expert laboratory partner in the works on the PCR|ONE system.

Pre-validation will be based on nasal, skin and throat swab tests for the presence of Staphylococcus aureus. The tests will be conducted, among others, with the use of the PCR|ONE system. The Management Board anticipates that the system pre-validation process will take a few months.

Pre-validation involves initial tests which will help to establish the optimal technical specification of the current prototype of the PCR|ONE diagnostic system. Thanks to the tests, Scope Fluidics will obtain valuable information that will determine further actions related to the development of the PCR|ONE system within the scope of the ongoing industrialization process. The industrialization of the PCR|ONE system is planned to be completed in Q2 2019.
